Dewar's 8 Years Old is a blended Scotch whiskey aged eight years. The peculiarity, or rather the "zest", of this whiskey is that aging is carried out in barrels previously used to age Caribbean rum. This technology gives the drink additional softness and intriguing taste with nuances of tropical fruits and caramel.
